The Scar Heal Kit is here for you to make scar management as easy as possible. Use Scar Fx Silicone Sheeting at night or while you're sleep. Use RejuvaSil Silicone Scar Gel during the day or when you're most active.
Scar management takes time, so to maximize results we recommend continuing use until you see no further improvement.
Everyone's skin is unique & sometimes it can take more than one Scar Heal Kit to see best results.
First, make sure that you have removed both sides of the plastic backing from your sheet. The tacky side can be very difficult to remove. There is medical grade tape included for extra adhesive if needed.
It’s always best to start using scar products as soon as your wound has fully closed— often this is just after your stitches have been removed. Your scar will be actively remodeling itself for up to two years, so it’s great to start early.
For scars older than two years, we recommend our Scar Esthetique Silicone Scar Cream to help soften its appearance it reduce discoloration.
Ensure you obtain a size or shape sufficient to fully cover the scar and maintain a 1/4" margin around it. Utilize the sizing chart above to align with common procedures for each sheeting size.
