The Scar Heal Kit for C-sections is designed to provide scar management for around 30-45 days. Most patients only need one kit, but if your scar is already a significantly raised c section scar or an older scar, it may require more time.
The c-section scar kit is all about making scar management as easy as possible. Use Scar Fx Silicone Sheeting at night or while you sleep. Use RejuvaSil Silicone Scar Gel during the day or when you're most active.
You may start seeing results in as little as a few days or a few weeks. Remember, scar management takes time, so to maximize results we recommend continuing use until you see no further improvement.
It’s always best to start using scar products as soon as your wound has fully closed— often this is just after your stitches have been removed. Your scar will be actively remodeling itself for up to two years, so it’s great to start early.
First, make sure that you have removed both sides of the plastic backing from your sheet. The tacky side can be very difficult to remove. If you need additional sticking power, use the tape provided.
