Frequently Asked Questions
Is this Stretch Mark Cream safe during both pregnancy and nursing?
Yes! Our formula is carefully crafted to include ingredients that are safe for you and your baby, and can be used during pregnancy to prevent stretch marks, and after pregnancy to help fade them.
While breastfeeding, we recommend making sure the cream has fully absorbed or cleaning the area you have been applying before actively breastfeeding.
How do I prep my skin for the silicone Scar Heal Kit?
Whether you’re applying the sheeting or the gel, your skin should be clean, dry and free of any hair that may get caught on the tacky side of the tape.
How much Stretch Mark Cream should I use?
We recommend using three finger lengths worth of cream to adequately cover larger areas like your pregnancy belly. The cream should easily absorb and completely cover the area.
How do I get my silicone sheets to stay in place?
First, you want to make sure that you have removed both sides of the plastic backing from the silicone sheeting.
When removing the sheeting, we recommend giving it a gentle cleaning with mild soap & water to remove any sweat or debris that may have accumulated on the sheet, and letting it air dry before storing it tacky-side down on a ziploc bag or piece of plastic sheeting.
This will help your sheeting last longer and prevent irritants from getting to your skin via the sheeting.
There is also medical grade tape included in your kit for extra adhesive if needed.
When should I start using my Stretch Mark Cream?
For pregnancy stretch marks, we recommend to start applying Stretch Mark Cream at the beginning of your second trimester— when your belly will really start growing and expanding.
How soon after my C-section can I start my Scar Heal Kit?
Like with all of our scar products, we recommend starting only once your wound has fully closed— when it is no longer bleeding, oozing, or scabbing. For c-section scars, this usually takes 2-3 weeks; however we always suggest checking in with your doctor if you are unsure!
