3-Step Tattoo Aftercare
There can be a lot of do’s & don’ts when it comes to healing your tattoo. These can vary based on the size, complexity, and location of your tattoo, so make sure you listen to your artist’s instructions carefully. In the meantime, here are 3 of the most important things to know about how to heal your tattoo.

Keep It Wrapped
Keep it wrapped for at least 24 hours, maybe a bit longer. (Don’t worry, your artist will tell you what to do!)

Gently Wash Your Tattoo
Once it’s time for the wrap to come off, you’ll need to wash off any of the excess ink, blood, plasma, etc. with antimicrobial soap!

Hydrate With Skin Recovery Cream
Apply a small amount of Skin Recovery Cream to your tattoo anytime it starts looking dried out.
Skin Recovery cream FAQ's
Keep your tattoo wrapped up for at least 24 hours or however long your tattoo artists suggested. Once the wrap has come off, you can begin using the Skin Recovery Cream on your tattoo. Make sure to keep your tattoo out of direct sunlight too!
We recommend starting with a dime size amount in your hand. But it also depends on the amount of skin you got covered with your tattoo!
Rejuvaskin Skin Recovery Cream completed testing by an independent lab declaring it safe for sensitive skin and non-irritating. 100% of participants reported the cream produced no irritation.
Once the wrap is off, you can reapply the Skin Recovery Cream at regular intervals throughout the day. Take care of your tattoo! The more attentive you are, the better it will heal.
No. Rejuvaskin Skin Recovery Cream should be applied to closed skin. You can continue to apply the cream to the surrounding area, but it has no antiseptic properties. If your skin is broken consult with your physician on what to do next.
Not at the moment, but we are working on expanding to new products! If you’re looking to protect your tattoo on a daily basis, you can check out our 100% Mineral Facial Sunscreen to help shield your ink from the sun!

"Spectacular For Tattoos!"
-Isabella
I've used SRC to help heal my last 3 tattoos and it's been spectacular! Anytime the linework starts to look a little dried out I apply a bit and it looks fresh & bright once again! I've also continued to use it on my tattoos even after they've healed just to keep the skin healthy. One of the best things about using SRC for your tattoos is not just the hydration, but it also keeps the itchy-phase to minimum (my larger ones still had somewhat of an itchy phase, but it was definitely more bearable with SRC, while my smaller tattoo had pretty much no itchy phase at all, which I loved because I'm bad at stopping myself from itching things oops)

A LITTLE MORE ABOUT
Skin Health & Tattoo Aftercare
One of the most important things to remember with your new tattoo is that it’s not just an investment of money, but also time. Make sure you listen to your artist’s tattoo aftercare instructions carefully so that it heals as it should, keeping the details crisp, colors vibrant, and free of infection.
While typical tattoo healing time can last anywhere from 2-4 weeks, Skin Recovery Cream’s blend of hydrating, nourishing ingredients will help ensure that it doesn’t take any longer than usual. We recommend starting the recovery cream as soon as your bandage has come off (and your tattoo has been gently washed) to help lock moisture into the site.
As you go through the regular tattoo healing stages, many key ingredients like calendula flower and aloe vera will aid in soothing your skin as your body repairs itself, helping minimize the notorious itchy phase that many people experience after getting a tattoo. It’s especially important to make sure you don’t scratch or pick at your tattoo as it heals, no matter how uncomfortable it gets, as this will likely result in damage of the art, and your skin.
Our advice is to apply a small dollop of our tattoo cream to your fingertip whenever your piece starts to look dried out or starts feeling itchy. Gently rub in the recovery cream until it has fully absorbed into your skin一 and then simply avoid touching it otherwise.
