What Is ReVita-D? Why This Moisturizer Ingredient Is A Game-Changer

What Is ReVita-D? Why This Moisturizer Ingredient Is A Game-Changer

Are you on the hunt for the best moisturizer for your skin? Here at Rejuvaskin, we know how difficult it can be to find just the right product for your face. In this post, we’ll take a look at the most effective moisturizer ingredients in our very own proprietary blend, ReVita-D. We’ll also discuss some natural moisturizer ingredients that are great for your skin and answer a common question: “how does moisturizer work?” Let’s jump right in.

What Are The Most Effective Moisturizer Ingredients?

Here at Rejuvaskin, we prefer to use all-natural, superfood ingredients in a water-based cream. This reduces that “greasy” feeling and goes above and beyond the job of your normal moisturizer. But first, how does moisturizer work?

Moisturizers are specifically designed to penetrate the initial skin barrier so that the deeper layers of skin can receive the benefits of the product, as well. Our skin’s surface is naturally oily, so these products need to be able to slip past the oils and into the skin itself.

With some engineering and, sometimes, man-made ingredients, moisturizing compounds can be carried into the skin and prevent further moisture loss. This is where our ReVita-D Complex comes in. We use some of the most effective moisturizer ingredients so that your skin gets the maximum moisturizing effect (and a nice little boost to vitamin D production).

ReVita-D’s Natural Moisturizer Ingredients:

Our proprietary ReVita-D Complex (a key ingredient in our Facial Moisturizer) is made up of some amazing ingredients that work together to provide your skin with three critical things:

  1. Deep, penetrating moisturization
  2. External protection against moisture loss
  3. Valuable vitamins and antioxidants that protect the skin barrier

Kakadu Plum Extract

Kakakdu plum (Terminalia ferdinandiana), is an Australian plant that is known for its uses in skincare. The extracts from this plant are filled with antioxidants and vitamin C, and may also protect against cancer and inflammatory diseases. When Kakadu plum extract is used in skincare products, the main use is the antioxidants to fight against inflammation.

Baobab Extract

The Boabab (Andansonia) tree grows in Australia and parts of Africa, and there are many different species of baobab trees. When we’re talking about skincare products, baobab extract refers to the extract from the seed within the tree’s fruit. The oily extract that comes from this fruit is antimicrobial, full of vitamin C, and (again) full of antioxidants.

Glycome From the Living Stone Plant

The living stone plant, also known as lithops (Aizoaceae), is a type of succulent native to Africa. A recent development in skincare technology is the use of plant stem cells— but not necessarily in the way you might think. While human stem cell therapy is generally designed to stimulate a regenerative response in your skin (or wherever the stem cells are used), humans and plants are totally different kingdoms, so they’re not going to have the same response.

That doesn’t mean they don’t have their uses in skincare, however! Plant stem cells (in our case, glycome technology from the living stone plant) are great for their antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties, further helping you protect your skin barrier and prevent wrinkles.

The living stone plant in particular has been found to be optimal in stimulating Vitamin D production, as well as increasing hydration & water reserves into even the deepest layers of skin, making this moisturizer that much more effective.

These are all-natural moisturizing and protective alternatives to some of the man-made compounds that you might find in other moisturizer brands. Here at Rejuvaskin, we like to include ingredients that you can pronounce and identify. We also include “Acquacell,” coffee extract, sunflower oil, and avocado extracts in our moisturizer to help provide more antioxidants, healthy fats, and a natural reduction of fine lines and wrinkles.

So, Why Is ReVita-D A Game-Changer?

It all boils down to what you want to put on your skin; if there’s an all-natural alternative that doesn’t feel greasy but performs as well as or outperforms other products, wouldn’t you want that for your skin?

That’s the basis that we operate on here at Rejuvaskin, and that’s why we’ve worked so hard to put together a Facial Moisturizer that does what you want it to do – all without harsh ingredients.
